01Overview
What changes in recruitment business development?
Company Finder is FluxHire’s prospecting tool for recruitment agencies: search business listings around a location, see what your agency already holds, find the people at each firm and add only the ones you choose. It is a search tool, not an AI agent.
Mapping a new patch
The manual way
Scroll maps and directories suburb by suburb, copying firm names into a spreadsheet.
With Company Finder
Company Finder searches business listings around a location, within the radius you set, for the keyword you type. No AI model is involved in the search.
Knowing what the desk already holds
The manual way
Search your database firm by firm before every call, and still miss a variation of the name.
With Company Finder
Each company is matched by name against your records and marked In FluxHire, Contacts only, Possible match or New discovery. This is name matching, not AI.
Handling near misses
The manual way
Guess whether two similar company names in your database are the same firm.
With Company Finder
Where a match is unclear, Company Finder shows Possible match and lists the records it resembles, so you decide whether they are the same firm.
Finding the right person at each firm
The manual way
Hunt through each company website for someone who might hire.
With Company Finder
Company Finder finds people at each company through the FluxHire Neural Engine and flags contacts who may already be on file.
Deciding who to call first
The manual way
Read every job title and guess who signs off on new hires.
With Company Finder
Seniority read from job titles orders the list, so directors and managers sit near the top. Nobody is filtered out.
Adding to your database
The manual way
Retype company and contact details into your system, one record at a time.
With Company Finder
Review the contacts in step one, then add the company and the contacts you chose to FluxHire in step two. Nothing is added before you press Add to FluxHire.
Following up
The manual way
Write an introduction campaign from a blank page.
With Company Finder
Not part of Company Finder: in the Global AI Centre, ask for an email campaign. The agents build it as a draft, and a person launches it.

The agent drafts
No agent runs Company Finder: it searches business listings and matches results to your records. Afterwards, Global AI Centre agents can build an email campaign as a draft for a person to launch.
You decide
Choose the patch, review the contacts and decide what is added. Nothing goes into FluxHire until you press Add to FluxHire.
The record is kept
Company Finder searches go to the audit log, and the companies and contacts you add land in FluxHire.

03Your role
What does Company Finder change for your role?
The same search serves every seat in the agency. Choose yours.
A day on the desk
Monday, 9.10am: new desk, new patch, and a list of engineering firms around Parramatta to build.
- Search by location, radius and keyword, in Australia or the UK.
- See which firms are already in FluxHire before you pick up the phone.
- Find people at each firm, ordered by the seniority in their job titles.
What stays yours
Which firms you call, and which contacts you add.
A day on the desk
Splitting a new patch between two consultants without both of them calling the same firm.
- On-file statuses show which firms the agency already holds and which are new discoveries.
- Possible match lists the records a company resembles, so near misses get a second look.
- Contacts already on file are flagged, so the desk can check the record before a second approach.
What stays yours
How the patch is split, and who works each firm.
A day on the desk
Planning a move into a new region or sector, and deciding where to put a consultant.
- Map the companies in a market before you commit a consultant to it.
- See how much of that market your agency already holds, firm by firm.
- Company Finder uses no AI model, so there is no AI output to check at this step.
What stays yours
Where the agency goes next, and what is added to the database.

- Search around your office by radius and keyword.

What stays yours
Who is approached, when, and how.

What will Company Finder never do without you?
Company Finder is a search tool, not an agent. Here is exactly where AI is and is not involved, and where the line sits.
Agents can
- Nothing inside Company Finder: it uses no AI model. Searches run on business listings and your own records.
- Build an email campaign as a draft in the Global AI Centre, ready for a person to launch.
- Answer questions about the companies and contacts already in your records, with links back to each one.
Agents never, without you
- Run a Company Finder search. There is no Company Finder agent, so every search is yours.
- Add a company or contact from Company Finder. You review the contacts, then add them.
- Send a campaign or activate a drip sequence without a person.
Always recorded
- Company Finder searches, in the audit log, with the search text masked.
- The companies and contacts you add, as records in FluxHire.
- AI-planned actions in the Global AI Centre, in the tamper-evident audit log.

Works alongside your current ATS
Native integrations with JobAdder and Jobli.
Company Finder checks results against the records in FluxHire, which for JobAdder agencies include your synced companies and contacts.
- Contact Finder, Company Finder and Social work whatever ATS you run.
- For JobAdder agencies, candidates, contacts, companies, jobs, applications and placements sync into FluxHire with their notes, so nobody types a record in again.
- Field write-back is set up with your administrator during onboarding.
- Records deleted in JobAdder are marked deleted in FluxHire at the next daily check.
05Questions
Questions agencies ask about Company Finder
Further reading
Is Company Finder AI?
No. Company Finder uses no AI model. It searches business listings by location, radius and keyword, matches the results to your records by name, and orders people by the seniority in their job titles. Agents in the Global AI Centre can help afterwards, for example by building an email campaign as a draft for a person to launch.
What is Company Finder?
It is FluxHire’s prospecting tool for recruitment agencies, built for Australian and UK searches. Type what the companies do, set a location and a radius, and Company Finder lists the businesses it finds, shows which are already on file, finds people at each firm and lets you add the ones you choose.
How accurate is the company and contact data?
It is a starting point to check, not a guarantee. Business listings and contact details can be incomplete or out of date, so confirm a company and a contact before you call. Name matching can also miss a firm or flag a near miss, which is why Possible match lists the records for you to review.
How does it know a company is already on file?
It matches company names against your records. Each result is marked In FluxHire, Contacts only, Possible match or New discovery, and a possible match lists the records it resembles. People found at each company are flagged when they may already be in FluxHire, so you can check before you add them.
Will it add anything to my database without me?
No. Adding is a two-step wizard: you review the contacts at a company first, then add the company and the contacts you chose. Nothing is added to FluxHire until you press Add to FluxHire, and you can leave out anyone you do not want to add.
Does Company Finder work with my ATS?
Yes. FluxHire works alongside your current ATS, with native integrations with JobAdder and Jobli, and Company Finder works whatever ATS you run. For JobAdder agencies, results are checked against the companies and contacts already synced into FluxHire. Read about the native JobAdder integration.
