01Overview
What does a contact finder for recruiters change on your desk?
Contact Finder is FluxHire’s search for candidates and hiring manager contacts in Australia and the UK. Every result is checked against your database, and in Contact Finder the decision to reveal details stays with you.
Building a list of hiring managers
The manual way
Search company websites and professional networks one firm at a time, then copy names into a spreadsheet.
With Contact Finder
Search Contact Finder by role and location, or ask the Contact Finder specialist in the Global AI Centre to run the search and summarise who it found.
Sourcing people who have done the job
The manual way
Run the same search strings on job boards, then cross-check each profile by hand.
With Contact Finder
Switch Contact Finder to candidates and search the same way, or start from a preset such as Registered Nurses, Allied Health or Legal Partners & Solicitors.
Checking who is already on file
The manual way
Look up each name in your database before you call, and still miss a few.
With Contact Finder
Contact Finder checks each result against your database. In FluxHire and Likely flags show who may already be saved; a Likely flag is a prompt to check, not a confirmation.
Getting contact details
The manual way
Pay for details on people you already hold, or guess an email format and hope.
With Contact Finder
Choose who to enrich in Contact Finder. Details are only looked up with a strong identifier, and people already on file are served from the record.
Keeping lookups in check
The manual way
Find out what a bulk lookup cost after it has already run.
With Contact Finder
In Contact Finder, a paid reveal happens only when you choose to enrich, within per-run and daily limits for each user.
Running the same search again
The manual way
Rebuild the filters from memory every time a similar brief comes in.
With Contact Finder
Save the search in Contact Finder once, then run it again from your saved searches when the next brief lands.
Taking the next step
The manual way
Copy each person into your ATS and your email tool by hand.
With Contact Finder
From Contact Finder, save people as contacts or candidates, add selected people to JobAdder, or enrol them in a drip campaign after reviewing who will be enrolled.

The agent drafts
Asked from the Global AI Centre, the Contact Finder specialist searches by role, location and company, then summarises who it found.
You decide
Choose who to reveal, who to save and who to contact. In Contact Finder, nothing is looked up until you choose to enrich.
The record is kept
Contact Finder searches go to the audit log, and the people you save land in FluxHire as contacts or candidates.

- Search candidates and hiring managers in one place, by role and location, or ask the Global AI Centre to search for you.
- See who may already be in your database before you reveal anyone.
- Save the search and run it again when the next accounting brief comes in.

Who to reveal and who to contact. Contact Finder brings back the names; you make the call.
A day on the desk
Monday stand-up: three consultants are working the same healthcare patch this week.
- Start from the same presets, such as Registered Nurses and Allied Health, so the desk searches the same way.
- Flags show who may already be saved, so a consultant can check the record before a second approach.
- Drip enrolments show who will be enrolled before anything happens, and opt-outs are checked again before every email.
What stays yours
Which sequences people go into, and who on the desk owns each conversation.

What will Contact Finder never do without you?
Finding people is the easy part. Here is exactly where the line sits between the search and the person who acts on it.

- Summarise who it found, so you can review the list before anyone is contacted.

Always recorded
- Contact Finder searches, in the audit log.

- Contact Finder, Company Finder and Social work whatever ATS you run.
- For JobAdder agencies, candidates, contacts, companies, jobs, applications and placements sync into FluxHire with their notes, so nobody types a record in again.

Questions agencies ask about Contact Finder
Further reading
What is FluxHire Contact Finder?
It is FluxHire’s search for candidates and hiring manager contacts, built for Australian and UK searches. You search by role and location, start from a preset or a saved search, see who may already be in your database, then choose who to reveal, save, add to JobAdder or enrol in a drip campaign.
Where is the AI in Contact Finder?
In the Global AI Centre. Press Cmd or Ctrl + K and ask the Contact Finder specialist to search for people by role, location, company and seniority through the FluxHire Neural Engine; it summarises who it found. Treat the list as a starting point: you review every name and decide who to contact.
How does Contact Finder handle personal data?
Your team decides what is saved and who is contacted. Data comes through the FluxHire Neural Engine. In Contact Finder, details are only looked up with a strong identifier, and nothing is revealed until someone chooses to enrich. Read how FluxHire handles security and the privacy policy, and check your own obligations before you reach out.
Will this turn our desk into a spam operation?
No. Contact Finder does not send email. When you enrol people in a drip campaign, you see who will be enrolled before anything happens, people who have opted out or are marked not to be emailed are left out, and opt-outs are checked again before every email.
How accurate are the contact details?
They are a starting point, not a guarantee. Details come through the FluxHire Neural Engine and can be incomplete or out of date, so check them before you call or email. In Contact Finder, details are only requested with a strong identifier: an email, a LinkedIn URL, a search result, or a full name plus company.
What about people who are already in our database?
Contact Finder flags people who may already be in your database. In FluxHire means a stored identifier matched; Likely means the name and company match, which has not been confirmed. Recognition can miss people, so check before you reveal. When you do enrich, people already on file are served from the record.
Does Contact Finder work with my ATS?
Yes. FluxHire works alongside your current ATS, with native integrations with JobAdder and Jobli, and Contact Finder works whatever ATS you run. JobAdder agencies can add selected people to JobAdder as contacts or candidates from the results. Read about the native JobAdder integration.
