Drip campaigns · Engage

Recruitment drip campaigns that agents draft. You launch every one.

Describe it once and an agent drafts the sequence, or build it yourself on the canvas.

The role you lost at final interview reopens. March’s shortlist is still warm.

In short

FluxHire’s recruitment drip campaigns help Australian recruitment agencies re-engage candidates and clients. Describe the campaign in the drip chat or the Global AI Centre and an agent drafts the email sequence, or build it yourself in the visual builder. You review who is enrolled, and it goes live only when a person types its name.

01Overview

What changes when you re-engage candidates with drip campaigns?

A FluxHire drip campaign is a sequence of emails, waits, conditions and actions that sends each step on its schedule once a person launches it. An agent drafts it, or you build it yourself; your team signs it off.

  1. Rediscovering a past shortlist

    The manual way

Dig through old notes and spreadsheets to find who you spoke to in March.

    With FluxHire

Set audience rules on your candidate records, such as city or latest application status, and the sequence finds them.

  2. Writing the sequence

    The manual way

Write four emails from scratch, then decide how long to wait between them.

    With FluxHire

Describe the campaign in the drip chat or with Cmd or Ctrl + K in the Global AI Centre, and an agent drafts the emails, waits and branches. Prefer to build it yourself? Drag the steps onto the canvas.

  3. Following up on who engaged

    The manual way

Check opens by hand and try to remember who to chase next week.

    With FluxHire

Conditions branch on opens, clicks, tags, list membership or engagement score, so the next email fits what each person did.

  4. Keeping records tidy

    The manual way

Tag and update each record by hand after every round of emails.

    With FluxHire

Action steps add or remove tags, update an allowed field, or add people to a list as they move through the sequence.

  5. Checking who you are about to email

    The manual way

Cross-check a spreadsheet against your unsubscribe list before anything goes out.

    With FluxHire

The enrolment check shows who will be enrolled and who is left out: opted out, already in this sequence or without a usable email address.

  6. Going live

    The manual way

One click on the wrong campaign emails the wrong people.

    With FluxHire

The sequence goes live only when a person types its exact name and presses publish.

  7. Respecting opt-outs

    The manual way

Hope the unsubscribe list was up to date on the day you sent.

    With FluxHire

Opt-outs are checked again before every email, and anyone who unsubscribes or whose email bounces leaves the sequence.

  1. The agent drafts

Drafts the sequence: the emails, subject lines, waits and branches, saved as a draft.

  2. You decide

Edit every step, review who will be enrolled, then type the name to launch it.

  3. The record is kept

Each enrolment shows where the person is in the sequence and why they left, if they did.

How does a candidate re-engagement sequence run, step by step?

Follow one reopened role from the brief to the launch. Play the run, or step through it yourself.

  1. You ask

    Describe the campaign

Tuesday, 9.10am. Alex opens the AI campaign builder and asks for a re-engagement sequence for March’s Financial Controller shortlist, now that JOB-2446 has reopened at Ironbark Freight.Fig 0.2 · AI campaign builder
  2. Agent

    The agent drafts each step

The agent draws the sequence node by node: an email about the reopened role, a three-day wait, a branch on opens and a follow-up. It is saved as a draft, and every step stays editable.Fig 0.3 · Sequence builder
  3. Record

    Check who will be enrolled

Publishing opens the review. The flow checks pass, and the enrolment check shows seven people will be enrolled, while one has opted out and one has no usable email address.Fig 0.4 · Who will be enrolled
  4. You decide

You type the name to launch

Nothing is live yet. Alex types the sequence name exactly and presses publish, and only then are seven people enrolled. A mistyped name is refused, and the sequence can be paused later.Fig 0.5 · Typed-name launch
  5. Record

    Every enrolment is tracked

Each enrolment shows its step and status. Opt-outs are checked again before every email, so Ravi, who unsubscribed that morning, has left the sequence, and so has an address that bounced.Fig 0.6 · Enrolments

03Your role

What do recruitment drip campaigns change for your role?

The same builder and the same launch check work for every seat in the agency. Choose yours.

A day on the desk

Tuesday, 9.10am: the Financial Controller role you lost at final interview has reopened, and March’s shortlist is still warm.

  • Ask for a re-engagement sequence and edit the agent’s draft instead of starting from a blank page.
  • Branch on who opened or clicked, so the second email fits what each candidate did with the first.
  • Add someone you find in Contact Finder to a sequence that is already live, after the same enrolment check.

What stays yours

Every word in every email, and the moment the sequence goes live.

What will a drip campaign never do without you?

The checks are built into publishing and sending, not left to memory. Here is exactly where the line sits.

Agents can

  • Draft a whole sequence from a plain-English brief, with subject lines and copy, saved as a draft.
  • Suggest subject lines and email content for a step you are editing.
  • Branch on opens, clicks, tags, list membership and engagement score.
  • Add or remove tags, update an allowed field, and add people to a list or remove them from one.
  • Enrol people from audience rules on your candidate or contact records, typed addresses or Contact Finder.
  • Send each step on its schedule, inside the send window you set, once a person has launched it.

Agents never, without you

  • Go live without a person typing the sequence name.
  • Email someone who has opted out, is marked do not email, or whose email bounced.
  • Send when the opt-out check or the frequency cap cannot be read: the email is held instead.
  • Publish without your agency’s sender details, or send an email without an unsubscribe link.

Always recorded

  • Each enrolment, with where the person is in the sequence.
  • Why someone left: opted out, email bounced, placed in a role or removed by a recruiter.
  • What each step did for each person, including the conditions it checked.

Works alongside your current ATS

Native integrations with JobAdder and Jobli.

Audience rules run on your synced candidate and contact records, so a sequence starts from what is already in your ATS.

  • Contact Finder, Company Finder and Social work whatever ATS you run.
  • For JobAdder agencies, candidates, contacts, companies, jobs, applications and placements sync into FluxHire with their notes, so nobody types a record in again.
  • Field write-back is set up with your administrator during onboarding.
  • Records deleted in JobAdder are marked deleted in FluxHire at the next daily check.

05Questions

Questions agencies ask about recruitment drip campaigns

Further reading

What is a recruitment drip campaign?

It is a planned series of emails that reaches a group of candidates or contacts over days or weeks. In FluxHire an agent drafts it from your brief, in the drip chat or through the Global AI Centre, or you build it yourself in a visual builder from emails, waits, conditions and actions. It sends each step on its schedule once a person launches it.

Will drip campaigns replace my consultants?

No. The agent drafts the sequence and the builder runs the steps, but your consultants choose who is enrolled, edit every email and decide when it goes live. AI drafts can be wrong, so every step stays editable before launch, and the person who launches a sequence remains responsible for what it says.

Could a sequence send something I never saw?

No, not without a person launching it. AI drafts are saved as drafts, and publishing shows the flow checks and who will be enrolled. The sequence goes live only when someone types its exact name and presses publish. After that it sends the steps that were launched, and you can pause it at any time.

Will it spam our candidates?

It is built not to. Opt-outs are checked again before every email, and if that check or the frequency cap cannot be read, the email is held rather than sent. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and anyone who unsubscribes or whose email bounces leaves the sequence. Read our guide to candidate nurture.

Can I edit every step before it goes live?

Yes. Every email, subject line, wait and condition in an AI draft can be changed on the canvas, and you can ask for new subject lines or content for a single step. Publishing then checks the flow for problems, such as a missing subject line or empty email content, before the launch field opens.

Do I have to leave my ATS?

No. FluxHire works alongside your current ATS, with native integrations with JobAdder and Jobli. Sequences enrol people from your synced candidate and contact records, and field write-back is set up with your administrator during onboarding. Read about the native JobAdder integration.
